Student & Teen Engagement

During my four years in Washington D.C. I engaged with high school students and college students about Israel. I educated about Israeli politics, cutlure, the conflict, and helped students of all ages find their own voice when engaging with Israel.

Panels

I moderated and participated in numerous panels, including pre and post-movie screenings at the Washington Jewish Film Festival and plays about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

BDS

Over the past couple of years I have given numerous talks about the BDS (Boycott Divestment Sanctions) Movement, presenting myths and facts, and suggesting effective ways to combat what some regard as the new form of anti-Semitism.

Israel in the Media

In a presentation titled: "The Media as the Third Party to the Conflict" I demonstrated to diverse audiences the biases in the international media when covering Israel. This interactive presentation includes a plethora of first and second hand contemporary examples.

Advocacy

Training

While at the JCRC, I provided advocacy training to members of the Jewish community across Maryland, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia. The goal was to provide tools to advocate for Israel, while conveying and reiterating the message that being pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian are not mutually exclusive.

Elections in Israel

Pre and post-elections briefings. We met with Hillel International professionals, Conservative Rabbis, and community members discussing the election campaigns, the results and their implications. I also took part in educating students on campus at George Washington University about Israeli democracy and elections during my service as a Jewish Agency Israel Fellow to Hillel.
